ReplyDeleteFavorite Christmas memory would be last year when we spent it at Christmas. My whole family was there. My parents, my two sisters and their fams, both my brothers and their fams. We had a huge cabin, nothing but chaos with all the kids, but looking back it was one of those you will never forget!! It was amazing to have everyone there!!

ReplyDeleteI have lots of good Christmas memories of when I was a child and when my children were little. I will share one of those memories. When I was little we always looked forward to Christmas Eve. We would go to church and then drive around and look at all the lights and when we got home Santa had been there and left us our presents. We didn't have a lot when I was growing up but we did have lots of love and the magic of Christmas.
Okay, first, I am a follower and have been from the very beginning. I think I was about your third follower. I knew you were destined for greatness!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory was when I had filed for divorce just before and I thought it would be the worst Christmas ever. Instead all my friends came with presents for me and my one year old son. My heart could not have been warmer and his Christmas was filled with laughter, love and plenty of company. I will never forget them for what they did for me in that difficult time.
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo...this Blog newbie finally figured out your blinkie secret! It is on my blog and if I may say so myself, it looks pretty Crickety!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is when I was at my godfather and we were playing in that huge red bed with bunch of stuff toys. He always spoiled us, my brother and I, and we would get Lego. It was a magical time!
ReplyDeleteI am a stalker,I mean follower. One of my favorite Christmas memories is when I decided to do a scavenger hunt of sorts for my children for them to find one of their 'big' Christmas gifts. They love finding the clues and it saved me wrapping those big stuffed animals!
ReplyDeleteI am already a follow, because you do amazing work! I think my favorite Christmas memory, was the year my son was born. My daughter was 2, it was snowing here in Mi, the lights were on the tree, it was just one of those "moments". Nothing in particular happening, I was just feeling so full of love, joy, and being blessed. (Cheesy I know, but true!)
ReplyDeleteLong time follower and already have your blinky on my blog.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is our first Christmas tree. I made all of the ornaments with our son. They were made out of paper and cookies. Our son slept under the tree that night in the hopes of catching a glimps of Santa lol

ReplyDeletePutting giveaway on FB and my blog w/link, but fave Christmas memory, when my sis and I were really young & our family had driven in to Grandma's for Christmas. Johna and I were snuggled under the homemade quilts on the rollaway pulled into the dining room, it was the wee hours of the night and we heard something on the roof and then we SAW Santa and his sleigh. Of course it was many years later we were recalling this special Christmas and put 2 & 2 together that we were just outside Tinker Air Force Base and must have been in the flight pattern! But we both still laugh and say, we did see Santa that night. Precious memories with my Happy Birthday Today, Sister Johna!
ReplyDeleteyou know I follow you... I am trying not to stalk you, but yes, I follow you... LOL!!!

Girl you know I have your blinkie, badge and it all! My fondest christmas memory was when we would all get together (aunts, uncles, cousins etc) at my grandma's house for christmas. It was about the only time we ever seen each other. We would go shopping for cute little christmas dresses to wear and then once we got to grandmas and seen the presents course that was all we could think about! We were all little and had so much fun playing together and I cherish those moments of my family. I haven't seen most of them for over 20+ years.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great deal. I'll have to go check it out.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory is from about 25 years ago. I was sitting with my brother on a small (tiny) bridge over a creek swinging my legs and we were singing Christmas songs. It was Christmas day and I had just gotten an ankle bracelet. It came flying off my ankle and my brother jumped in the cold water to try and find it. He never found it but the love in his heart made mine grow 3 times larger. I miss my little brother and I will always remember his big heart.

ReplyDeleteMy fav christmas memory...as I was growing up I lived in germany. We lived with my grandfather, aunt and uncle. Every christmas eve we would be sent to play and when we heard the bells ring we knew the "christ child" had come. He delivered our fresh cut tree and decorated with real candles and lots of pretty packages with gorgeous bows beneath. Getting a little teary eyed right now

ReplyDeleteFavorite Christmas Memory is decorating the christmas tree. I love getting the ornies out each year and remembering the meaning behind each one. Each year there is always one I forget about until I unwrap it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas Memory has to be 2008 when my one yr old daughter fell asleep right after opening her first few presents. There was a pink ball from her uncle and she must have known what it was because we has a hard time keeping her from it until we were ready, after she tore it open she sat down to play with it and fell asleep hugging it.

The most memorable Christmas for me was when I was 11. I was being brought up by my grandparents and my grandfather was in hospital having suffered a major heart attack at 52, only Christmas morning my grandmother took me to see him (he had been in hospital for 2 weeks by this time) I walked in gave him a kiss and held his hand and that was the last I remembered until Santa came and gave me a present. It turned out I had fainted at the sight of my thin and very ill looking grandfather and the nurses had put me in a bed further down the ward to recover from fainting. My grandparents were very dear to me and my grandfather who eventually made a recovery this time laughed about this incident for years to come saying I had only wanted a gift from Santa!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas memory is when we got engaged.
ReplyDeleteI just love your blog!! My favorite Christmas memory is when I lived in Brazil. We played secret Santa at my grandmas house. When it came time to give out the gifts this one time my uncle had gotten my grandma as his secret Santa so he got her something in a big box, she was all excited about the big box. When she began to open the gifts there was box, after box, after box, after bag etc.. and then when she finally got to her gift it was some cheap sandals 2x her size. we all laughed soo much because of what he made her go thru. In the end he had a nice gift for her. We always bring it up when we see each other.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have a favorite per se. I do know that my favorite thing is knowing that I have gotten someone something they will love and seeing them open it. It's an awesome feeling.

My favorite Christmas memory was when I was a little girl and my parents bought me the brand new original Nintedo system. It had just come out and I was the first of my friends to get it! My older brothers were never around much, but they stayed that night and we were up til 3:00 in the morning playing duck hunt and super mario brothers. My parents were so cool to let me stay up that late! It was such a special memory for me. I will never forget it!

My favorite Christmas Memory:
ReplyDeleteI was 7 years old, it was 1972. I was the middle child of 7 children in the family, and my Dad had Cancer bad, but was able to come home from the hospital. My Mom didn't work, and my Dad was sick, so there wasn't going to be Christmas (I wasn't aware of that until I was older). A friend of my Mom and Dad's had us all over the day before Christmas Eve for dinner, and there, they had a big pile of food and presents for all of us, that our church and all their friends had gotten together and did for us. My dad died 2 weeks later, but my last Christmas with him was the best.
i have never used those. cool
