M-I-C-K-E-Y! Trip to Mouse Memories in Orlando, FL, 2 Giveaway!!!

I've made a scrapbook layout called a Tweet Year. I wanted to make a scrapbook page for my lil one Jonas to journal an entire year in his young life! I used a bird for each month, with a mini calendar, and a photomat. I just LOVE how this cart has birds decorated for each season and occasion! Each month I'm taking a picture of him, circling the date, stamping a cute sentiment using MPS Tweetie Hoo Puns, and by the end of the year, I'll have an entire year scrapbooked on just ONE layout!! How awesome is that???

I also decided to use my mini card, envelope and box set from this month's grab bag at VDBC.  Like this envelope/card and box set? CLICK HERE I created an entire set of little cards for each occasion of the year using 3 Birds on Parade and my stamps! The best part? I was able to make the cards, envelopes, and box to store them in quickly--because they are small! LOVE it! CHAW: CHA here we come! FREE file tomorrow

Hi everyone! I'm busy packing up for CHAW as I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Orlando to fly out the next day! I've really only been blogging about 7 mths, so I'm newer to all this "bloggie stuff". However, I see that everyone is having blog hops, loves to hop in them, and it looks like a lot of fun!I've only ever done 2 that I was invited to, which I thank the girls who asked me, because up to that point, I had never even heard of them!
 I'm not sure how people get invited or choose who to invite. Since I really don't know the "ins and outs" (what's new..I tell you I live under a rock)...I'm just going to list it here and take anyone who wants to participate! lol
I have decided to have a HUGE blog hop to celebrate all of our favorite places across the US....since I'll be leaving just days after this hop for my cross country road trip---I though this would be fun! It will be 2 days, the 11-12'th...but we will allow everyone to hop until the 13'th to allow time to get all comments in!
However YOU really only have to do ONE blog post, and then it just lasts thru the weekend to allow everyone to get to all the blog hop stops. Everyone will post on Friday, and then all the hoppers have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to get those comments in! Then we will draw winners on Monday.

Repost: Hey Ya'll: A Whimsical Fly Swatter for all those who wish to swat in style!

**This is a repost of a an altered flip flop I did when I first started my blog in July! How fun to repurpose a flip flop into a fun fly swatter. I wanted to repost this for Bella's Repurpose Project**
Hey ya'll! Here is two pics of the projects I made last night and today. I made two very stylish fly swatters--this is an absolute MUST have for every Southern woman--you all know how we have to swat those flies--and why not do it in style?

The first one I made for my mother--dragonfly themed. The SVG for it is a freebie for you to grab.

The second one I made is for me--I love owls and my craft room is FILLED with them. It features Wee Hootie (you might recognize him from the chalking video).
I'm working on another one right now (well two of them I won't lie). I'll post those tomorrow. See the quick video tutorial on how to make and gaudy up these precious little swatters--for any of your favorite lil pests!
I used sulyn glitter glue for my dragonflies and a diecut from my cricut--free svg is posted here too!

I CHALLENGE each of you to find an old flip flop of your child's--or a new one--and show us a flip flop that's all you--your style. No rules--you just have to use a flip flop! Best follower's flip flop (say that three times fast) gets a a lil goody bag of posh gaudies! All you have to do is hop off the computer and get busy blinging out your best flip flop design! Fantastic Friday: News, Cri-Kit Swirl Pen Giveaway

A happy Friday to each of you today dear friends! I hope your weekend is off to a fantastic start! Mine is, as I'm heading out the door to my favorite local scrap store for a fun night of cropping!

We have found out we are moving to California in March! So my hubby has decided we will take a full month cross country rv trip and just stop all the fun places along the way! I have a super amazing hubby who took the garage section of our RV and turned it into a fabulous craft room for me! Creative Charms "Love Notes" & Four Giveaways!

Hello all my dear creative friends and readers! Today I have some projects that I made with the deal of the month (you know I LOVE those deals of the month) hahaha.... AND my Love Notes cutting file bundle (AI EPS SVG SCAL MTC KNK WPC GSD)

Valentine Card Holder

I have been busy making Valentine goodies! As you can see, I have a big sweeth tooth! I made this valentine holder (it has a pocket inside that holds cards) to hold cards and goodies! I loved using the puffy hearts and then accenting them with the teeny tiny beaded hearts. I also of course used some of Creative Charms' yummy dotted ribbon on top of some luscious pink tulle-complete with cupcake embellishment and heart pin! To make this embellishment, you just need to make an accordion rosette and cupcake sticker.

Treat Bag Topper

What Valentine's Day would be complete without some yummy treats for that special teacher, friend, co-worker, and family member? I love to wrap the individual min chocolate bars with cardstocks and ribbons! I topped off the treat bag with that precious heart embellie from my deal of the month!

3D Heart Box

Of course for that special friend or wee little one (yes my wee one already ate his chocolates out of here) you can always make a quick heart box from cardstock and decorate it with the Sweet Tooth epoxy stickers that came in the deal of the month!

Long Candy Box

Lastly I made these adorable paper boxes to hold mini candy bars or candy conversation boxes! As you can see Creative Charms always has that perfect accent for any project! I loved topping each cupcake wrapper with a mini beaded heart and then topping my box top off with that sweet puff ribbon rose from the deal of the month!

Have Your Cake (and eat it too)

This past Tuesday's Triple Tiara Challenge was to use WHITE for your card, and only add a hint of color on your stamped image. This was totally a challenge for me! I've never made an all white card. I stuck with all white including my base, my paper lace mat, a glittered white top mat, lace circle for my cute cake image to sit up, and then topped it off with a sheer white bow!

This adorable swirly cake image is from "Have Your Cake" stamp set from Queen Kat Designs. I used my printer to print the Eat Cake sentiment, since I do not have many sentiment stamps (yet). I then added some yummy glitter to top off that frosting! YUM!

I hope that each of you will take the "all white" challenge! Remember you can do ALL the challenges as long as they are all finished and linked up by the last day of the month.
